God wants everyone to experience his love and mercy

Our Heavenly Father is such a kind and gracious God.  He wants everyone to experience his love and mercy.  We think of the story of Jonah.  Jonah was a prophet and man of God who at first didn't want to do what God had instructed him to do.  Which was to go to Nineveh and preach to the Assyrians the message of God.  This disobedience nearly cost him his life and the lives of others who were with him on that ship.  But our gracious God spared Jonah's life and gave him a second chance.  When Jonah obeyed he got back on the path to blessing and it brought blessing to the Assyrians.  Jonah was a tool to get the Ninevite's back on the right path with God.  What an expression of God's love and mercy.  God wants us to experience this in our lives as well.  He wants us to feel, sense and walk in his unfailing love and he wants to restore to us all that has been stolen or taken from us.  So that our life will be a full expression of his love and mercy.
