Faith is the substance of things

Are we yielding to the anointing of wealth?  It says in Deuteronomy 8:18 (NKJV) “18 “And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”  Remember, through Christ Jesus this is also a part of our covenant.  Our Heavenly Father has a desire to confirm his covenant with us and to share his glory with us in this way also.  In Hebrews 11:1 it says, "Now Faith is the substance of things..."  Faith is how we lay hold of the things that the Lord wants to bless us with so that we can experience more of his presence and joy in our life.  I like how this verse is translated in the Amplified version, in that it says that "Now Faith is the title deed to things hoped for..."  Faith is how we take ownership and possess the goodness of the Kingdom of God.

Can we undo the favor God has given us?

Yes.  It is possible to undo the favor that God has given us with an individual or a group of individuals.  You say, how can this be?  It happens when we behave our way out of the favor that God has given us.  In other words, we don't behave as we should with the individual that God has given us favor with.  For example, when the person becomes high maintenance or is too demanding with the individual that God has given them favor with, one can loose this favor.  I think the story of Esther really points this out nicely.  Let's take a look at Esther 2:15 (AMP) where it says, “15 Now when the turn for Esther the daughter of Abihail, the uncle of Mordecai who had taken her as his own daughter, had come to go in to the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king’s attendant, the keeper of the women, suggested. And Esther won favor in the sight of all who saw her.”  Notice, that Esther who was in the Kings Palace and had experienced all of the privilege that came from being a part of the Kings palace, required nothing additional over and above what was provided.  In other words, she wasn't a high maintenance person or a person who was very demanding.  It was her attitude and disposition that won her favor in the sight of everyone.  Even in the sight of the other girls who were competing with her in a sense.

Good judgment makes us slow to anger

Thoughts to live our life by:

#1 – Good judgment makes us slow to anger.
James 1:19-20 (NIV) “19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20 because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.”

#2 – God is glorified in our life when we overlook a wrong.
Ephesians 4:32 (NIV) “32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

ARM Easter Message: "Are We Living a Resurrection Life?"
Foundation Text:
Isaiah 61:1-3 (NKJV) 61 “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn,3 To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”
