It is God’s Desire that We Prosper?

It is the desire of our Heavenly Father to bless and prosper his children who seek him, love him and strive to do that which he wants us to do. It says in 3 John 1:2 (NKJV) “2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” Prosperity starts in our spirit first. I then expands into our soul and then is manifested in our physical body and life circumstances. We live in very difficult times. But that does not matter. It is not our physical circumstance or surrounding that causes us to prosper. It is our faith in the word of God that produces prosperity in our lives. For example, when we release our faith for salvation in Jesus Christ. It is our spirit that leads the way to prosperity in eternal life and salvation in Jesus Christ. When must then renew our minds in the word of God and let that be our focus and guide. If we will constantly renew our minds in the promises of God, it won’t be long before those promises start to manifest themselves physically in our life.

The Choice Is Ours

ARM Message (Sunday 8/11): "The Choice Is Ours"
Foundation Text:
Deuteronomy 30:15-20 (NKJV)
15 “See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, 16 in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess. 17 But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them, 18 I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess. 19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; 20 that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.”

Is the joy of the Lord your strength?

In the course of daily life we all go through trials and difficulties.  Unfortunately we live in a world that flows in a negative stream.  As we get closer to the Lord's return, this negativity will only increase.  What support do we have?  One of the greatest sources of our strength is the joy of the Lord.  It says in Nehemiah 8:10 (NLT) 10 And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!”".  So the joy of the Lord is very much a force that we draw strength out of.  It provides us a fortitude to withstand that which goes on around us.  Remember, nothing can steal our joy, we have to give it away.

We Should Walk In the Blessings of God Daily - Part 2

ARM Message: "We Should Walk In the Blessings of God Daily - Part 2"
Series Text: Psalm 68:19
Message Text:
Job 36:5-11 (AMP) 5 Behold! God is mighty, and yet despises no one nor regards anything as trivial; He is mighty in power of understanding and heart. 6 He does not prolong the life of the wicked, but gives the needy and afflicted their right. 7 He withdraws not His eyes from the righteous (the upright in right standing with God); but He sets them forever with kings upon the throne, and they are exalted. 8 And if they are bound in fetters [of adversity] and held by cords of affliction, 9 Then He shows to them [the true character of] their deeds and their transgressions, that they have acted arrogantly [with presumption and self-sufficiency]. 10 He also opens their ears to instruction and discipline, and commands that they return from iniquity. 11 IF THEY OBEY AND SERVE HIM, THEY SHALL SPEND THEIR DAYS IN PROSPERITY AND THEIR YEARS IN PLEASANTNESS AND JOY.

We Should Bring Out the Best of The People We are In Relationship With

ARM Message: “We Should Bring Out the Best of The People We are In Relationship With”
Foundation Text:
1 Corinthians 13:4 (PHILLIPS)
4 This love of which I speak is slow to lose patience – it looks for a way of being constructive.  It is not possessive: it is neither anxious to impress nor does it cherish inflated ideas of its own importance.
