Do we look for ways to be constructive in our relationships?

If we are trying to bring out the best of those people we are in relationship with, then we want to be constructive.  It says in 1 Corinthians 13:4 (J.B. Phillips New Testament) [Portion] "..it looks for a way of being constructive..."  In other words, love looks for a way to be constructive with the people we are in relationship with.  To be constructive means that we are serving someone.  It means that we are building up someone.  Being constructive also includes improving someone.  To be constructive as it is meant in this passage means that all of this is done is a positive way.  To serve to buildup or improve someone we are in relationship with is a manifestation of God's love through us to that person.
