Do we honor God?

All honor flows from the throne of Grace.  All honor flows from the Heavenly Father. The Lord Jesus taught on this.  You can find his teaching in this area in Matthew 10:40-42 (ERV) “40 “Whoever accepts you also accepts me. And whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me. 41 Whoever accepts a prophet because he is a prophet will get the same reward a prophet gets. And whoever accepts a godly person just because that person is godly will get the same reward a godly person gets. 42 Whoever helps any of these little ones because they are my followers will definitely get a reward, even if they only give them a cup of cold water.””  So our ability to honor God flows down to his Servants and down to our Brothers and Sisters.  You see if we honor God, then we will honor our Pastor, Youth Leader, Childrens' Ministry Leader, our Brothers and Sisters and so on.  It is out of our honor for God that we honor those our Heavenly Father has given to lead us and to those whom we lead.
