We invite you to a call to prayer

Next week Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday we will be fasting and praying for our nation. We will be praying for all of those in authority and those who influence the people that make up our nation. We are praying that our nation will turn to God in a greater way. We are praying for those who are unemployed and those in our nation who are living in poverty.  We are praying for those who are affected by the worst drought our country has experienced in 50 years.  We are praying for our people to choose life.  It says in Jeremiah 17:7-8 "7 Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. 8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit."
